Berserk S2 Ep. 03 Review
Things start off quite interesting with this episode because Griffith is finally back in the spotlight where most of this episode's story will be.
At the start we got to see a tiny bit of what Griffith is capable off. Zodd showed up to assist Griffith and they also introduced a few new characters like Grunbeld, and Locus. Later on, it was shown how Griffith runs things in his army, the Band of the Hawk.
Many things were shown in his army that kinda made me think that Griffith isn't so bad after all. He's definitely leadership material. Despite who he is he appears so normal, almost human. I think his Seer is creepier with her obsession on Griffith.
Overall, good story and pacing going on here. Not much of Guts was featured in this episode but a good story shouldn't only focus on the protagonist, it should also feature other backstories.
Verdict: 8/10
